Replacing a lightbulb for your neighbour, the neighbours across the street who occasionally watch your children when you quickly run to the neighbourhood store... That's what we call "the small acts of kindness": neighbors assisting each other with little things and being helped by fellow community members.
In this podcast series, researcher Liesbet Lommelen from Thomas More explains what it is precisely and how you can apply it in both rural and urban environments. Additionally, some community members share how they approach this in their neighbourhoods, whether in a big city like Antwerp or in a neighbourhood in Arendonk. This podcast was created with the support of the Flemish Government.
