Modern societies are superdiverse by nature. This calls upon Higher Education Institutions to shape inclusive educational environments for the benefit of students, staff, and society as a whole.
In our mixed classrooms we do not only nurture informed individuals, but also train proactive citizens of a global community. And in doing so, foster creativity, critical thinking, and a sense of communal well-being. Superdiversity also triggers us to reshape our buildings and services, creating spaces where students and staff from various backgrounds can contribute to a rich tapestry of campus life. At the same time we adopt systems to evaluate and recognize foreign qualifications, preventing loss of talent but also to enrich the workforce with diverse perspectives and expertise.
We invite you to bring your insights and experiences in this topic as we discuss how higher education can play a pivotal role in making superdiversity a positive story.
